I began writing children’s stories for my two children decades ago. But after experiencing publisher rejections turned to other creative writings. I authored two pieces for Delaware Anthologies, contributed a chapter for Delaware Women Remembered, and wrote the foreword for a book of humorous poetry. While employed as an academic advisor for the University of Delaware, I wrote a children’s play that was used for a winter session course. But creating children’s stories is my passion and it continues to be my favorite past time. Why? Book titles just pop up in my head, and then the stories emerge. Now that I have two young grandsons, Emery and Preston, I want them to have books on their shelves that are authored by their memere. When I'm not at the computer writing, I'm trying to develop my photography skills. Among my favorite subjects are the elderly at the nursing home where I volunteer. I earned a MA. in education and a B.S. in human resources. My husband William, a harmonica player and I share our home with cat, Jasmine.
